Caring for your new window tinting

HOME/OFFICE/COMMERCIAL WINDOW TINTING

The following information will help to keep your window film looking great for years to come!

PLEASE DON’T CLEAN YOUR WINDOWS FOR 30 DAYS

Window film installation requires the use of a water and detergent solution.  During installation, the solution is squeegeed out.  Inevitably, there will be a small amount of residual moisture that may cause the film to develop a visual haze and/or humidity blisters as the moisture evaporates.  DO NOT try to remove blisters by popping or pressing on them.  Please do not be concerned!  This is a normal part of the process and these will slowly disappear as the film cures and is not a defect in the material or workmanship.

To keep you tinted windows looking great, simply clean using a mild soapy water with a soft cotton or microfibre cloth.

Please DO NOT use anything harsh or abrasive on your window film – no brushes, scourers or powders.  DO NOT use ammonia-based glass cleaners.  If you wish to use a glass cleaner, please look for one that is “Window Tint Safe” or “Ammonia Free”.  Please DO NOT use steam/vapour cleaners to clean tinted windows.
